Important: Safe disposal of old or obsolete beacons
Beacons that are no longer in use must be disposed of responsibly to prevent accidental activation.
Do not place your beacon in household rubbish or recycling
How to safely dispose of your beacon:
Step one: ensure your beacon is deregistered. You can do this by logging in to your MyBeacons account to remove your beacon or, you can contact our admin team at [email protected] with your beacon details so that we can deregister this for you
Step two: send your old beacon to RCCNZ so the battery can be safely disabled and disposed of:
